How do you get the most data out of preg-checking?
Timing matters. To get the clearest, most accurate results, make sure your cows are presented in the right window:
45–90 days bred is the sweet spot for accuracy—especially if you’re determining AI vs. bull-bred pregnancies.
Scanning under 100 days offers the most reliable fetal aging.
During this phase, you can also identify death loss and multiples, giving you better information to guide management decisions.
By contrast, late second- and third-trimester animals are more difficult to age accurately.
